Travel to Gran Alicant
Ryan Air and Monarch both operate budget flights year round to Alicante (Elche) International Airport.
There are regular busses to and from Gran Alicant to the airport
The main bus you might want to use is Line 1B travels from the airport to Gran Alicant and takes around 15 minutes.
Alternatively the Baile bus which travels daily between Gran Alicant and Alicante bus station – it stops amongst other places at the commercial centre and Playa Carabassi and takes around 40 minutes to the airport (4 -5 times a day)
The C6 Airbus travels to and from Alicante bus station every 20 minutes from 6 a.m. in the morning until 11 p.m. at night
Tickets are around 6 euros.
Taxi’s cost around 20 euros from the airport and take around 15 minutes
